Texting Etiquette Tips
Many of the concepts that apply to email apply to Instant Messaging (Desktop, Laptop, PDA, Blackberry, Pocket PC) and visa-versa. The key is courtesy and clarity in your communications. You need to use Instant Messaging (IM) or Text Messaging properly with consideration for the person on the other side.

Stop Forwarding Me Emails!
The topic of unwanted forwarded emails is one which I get contacted about almost daily. “Please advise a nice way of asking them to stop forwarding me all those [jokes, political commentary, feel good] emails.”
Do You Send Emails with Blank Subject Fields?
For the most part, I don’t open emails where the Subject: field is blank unless I immediately recognize the Sender. Most non-subjected emails are spam. Not having a Subject: therefore makes you look spammy and generally will have your email end up in my Junk or Trash folder when it is misidentified as spam.
