Hey, Rodney!

When I see sig separators I deja vu back to the early days when all e-mail programs did that. I've used Eudora forever and it doesn't include a separator.

I agree with your comments about how some are unwilling to embrace the minor skills required to e-mail with "knowledge, courtesy and understanding." I do at least one magazine/newspaper/radio interview a week where I am asked about progress in e-mail etiquette over the now 15+ years I've been championing the topic. My answer is unfortunately, very little. Reporters and interviewers, site visitors and comments here, discuss and are still struggling with the very same issues that started these sites way back when.

And, these questions and concerns come from folks like you who do get it. They are mostly seeking out some sort of confirmation that they are not alone in understanding the issues I talk about on my sites. On a positive note, when it comes to business e-mail etiquette, my site on that topic reflects that those smarties online for commercial gain, get it, want to get it and are increasingly embracing the knowledge and skill acquisition necessary to be take seriously and viewed as courteous professionals.

Thanks for your comments!!
